On the Road

Moving to California in early April

 Sometimes driving from one city to the next is uneventful.  Other times there isa lot going on!  I don't always think to snap a photo, but I was ready on the drive from Las Cruces to AZ.

First, we have been through Border Patrol several times - a few in Texas, once in NM and now in Arizona.  Lots of cameras, and all vehicles have to stop.  We simply tell the agent we are US citizens and are on our way.

Then I saw several trains on the road to AZ.  And out here - you can see the whole thing!!!  Even around bends and stuff.  Very impressive.

We stopped at this rest stop in NM and I thought it was just so cute.  We've seen several rest stops in the last 6 months, but this one had some character.

The pineapple at the top of the fountain is welcoming!

Sometimes the view along the road is so breathtaking I take a photo out the window - phone wires and all.
