We will be in Tucson the last 2 weeks of January...trying to keep warm, people!
One of the best things about our travels this past year has been meeting friends and family on the road. Both Johnny and I have been able to track down some folks that now live in the Phoenix area. We met some Grayslake friends Chelsea's Kitchen. Teri and Maria and their husbands as well as our good friend Joan .
The patio had lovely Christmas decorations and I was struck by sitting outside in the beautiful desert during a holiday evening.
Later in the week we met Dan and Debby Miksta for dinner. I worked with Dan at Inland Steel but he moved to Phoenix many years ago so it had been a while since we talked. Love catching up with friends!
In my last post on the RV park, I forgot to mention the spectacular sunsets (And a couple of sunrises, if we are awake) we are treated to most evenings. It doesn't get any better than this.
